After a gap of three days, I-League 2024-25 action will resume with matchday 5 fixtures on Friday (December 13, 2024). All 12 teams in India's second division will be in weekend action. Watch all six matches live. (More Football News)
The highlight fixture of matchday 5 is the clash between leaders Inter Kashi, one of the youngest outfits in Indian football, and the Churchill Brothers, a legacy club trying to regain their lost glory.
Under the inspirational Antonio Lopez Habas, the Spaniard who led ATK to two Indian Super League titles in 2014 and 2020, Inter Kashi have started their second I-League on a rousing note, winning three back-to-back matches after the opening day draw.
Churchill Brothers, the former I-League champions (2009 and 2013), will enter the match as the third-place team. Under Dimitris Dimitriou, they are lightly to mount a serious title challenge. They have won two and lost one in four matches.
Real Kashmir, the other unbeaten team, will be on the road to take on Punjab-based Namdhari, who are currently ninth in the 12-team table. In another big-ticket match, three-time I-League champions Dempo Sports Club will face Sreenidi Deccan in a mid-table clash between the third and fourth-place teams.

How To Watch I-League 2024-25 Football Matches?On the eve of matchday 3, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced the signing of a commercial rights agreement with Shrachi Sports Endeavour Private Limited to produce and broadcast 338 matches this season.
It said that Sony Sports Network would telecast 110 of the 132 I-league matches (24 matches have already been played), while the SSEN app (Shrachi) will stream the other leagues and tournaments, including the ongoing Santosh Trophy (National Football Championship), Rajmata Jijabai Trophy (Women's National Football Championship), I-League 2, and Indian Women's League.
Winners of the I-League 2024-25 will be promoted to Indian Super League (ISL), the country's top-tier league, while the 12th-place team will be relegated to I-League 2.
