MANILA, Philippines—It’s been a strenuous week so far for College of St. Benilde coach Charles Tiu. The coming days won’t be any less demanding either.
Tiu, who steered the Blazers back into the NCAA Finals four days ago, also serves as deputy for Converge in the PBA and he was on the FiberXers sidelines on Wednesday when they whipped the Terrafirma Dyip in the Commissioner’s Cup opening.

It’s a nice place to be in. Right now, I really want to focus on Benilde and it’s just a matter of managing my schedule,” said Tiu in an interview with Inquirer Sports on Wednesday at Philsports Arena.
“It is tiring, to be honest. Sometimes, it’s confusing because you really have to prepare for the PBA but it’s rare for us to be in a situation with Benilde where we have the finals.”
