Marvel Studios has finally dropped the first teaser trailer for “Thunderbolts,” giving fans a glimpse at the new supervillains team that is set to shake the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
“Thunderbolts” features a blend of misfits assembled by the US government for a special mission, with Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, seemingly leading the pack as she struggles to find her place after Black Widow.

Unlike the Avengers group, who always stood for justice and a sleek way of saving the world, the crew of Thunderbolts represents the blurred lines between heroism and self-interest, forced to team up for the dirty work as they share the same goal for redemption.

Directed by Jake Schreier (Star Wars: Skeleton Crew), “Thunderbolts*” is expected to deliver a darker tone, more mature storytelling with a blend of action centered on moral dilemmas.
Slated for a 2025 release, “Thunderbolts” is inclined to challenge the meaning of what it means to be a hero.
